I'm Eric1971 have a 1988 Monte Carlo SS that I bought in 1991. It was my daily driver up until 2012. It has been repainted and is almost all original except for obviously the paint and tires. The spare tire has never been used. It has the original floor mats, motor, transmission,radio, wheels, etc. I have put over 120,000 miles on the car. I have driven it in 8 states and in D.C. Hope to keep on driving it for many more years.
