Great info about the interiors, PBG, thanks!
Fleming- Yes you're right about the ... yawn... old styling cliche build. I paid $500 for the Bonnie with the challenge to build it as cheap as I can. All of the suspension, brakes, wheels and tires are hand me downs from my Pumkinator build from several years back, all collecting dust in storage. Pumkinator now has 315s all around on 18x10.5 wheels and I'm building yet another suspension to try make it one of the quickest G-bodies on the autocross. With all the spare parts laying around it was a natural and a very cheap way to build Bruiser for my daughter to join my son and I at the races. Being cheap with this build means there's more $ left over for Pumkinator.
I bought this Cutlass parts car for $400 and split the cost with my son who's taking the frame and bunch of engine bay parts to rebuild his 78 Cutlass that someone crashed into. So $200 for a complete super nice interior fits the cheap build motif, even if it is brown, lol. I also picked up a set of Pontiac dog dish caps. I already have the MB Old school wheels but later on when I don't need the $600 for another project I plan to buy 17x9 Steelies for that detective 9C1 look. That's a little cliche-ish too but we're not talking about a 69 Camaro, it's an ugly $500 4 door that I think built this way will still stand out in a crowd.
