bullet mirror teardown

how do i take the mirror apart from the cord? i need to pull the cord out of the base and i dont want to clip it because someone might need it. thanks.

The cables will slide out through the top of the base it will be tight. You can use a dremel to open up the holes slightly.

I tried prying it but it won't break free. Is this where you're talking about?
