Got a pair of junkyard doors for my 81 Malibu 4door after an accident and was recently too rough opening the rear push out window and broke the hinge. I know I'll have to take off the door panel to get to it was wondering what the steps would be to replacing it or if my window is just ****ed now.

Do you still have the old doors that you can scavenge parts from? It's fairly straight forward removing the vent windows. If I recall there might be a few hidden screws as well. and on the door/ window frame.

I don't have the doors sadly. Didn't think to keep em for the glass till after they were disposed of. Was super short sighted to not think of em

I know it's usually after the fact. not knowing if you need the parts or not. I've learned over the years, don't throw anything away.
I hope you're able to come across a few replacement vent windows. FYI, wagon vents won't fit.
