I did an overhaul on my car this spring and added c5 brakes using kore brackets along with Russell braided brake hoses on blazer spindles. When I set the car on the ground I turned the steering from lock to lock and heard a pop, thats when I lost my brakes. Turns out the back of the calipers hits the brake hose right where it connects to the hard line. On the driver's side it just bent the hose where it connects but the passenger side it broke the hose off. Has anyone else had an issue like this and how did you solve it? I'm thinking about getting a longer hose and relocating where it mounts.

I used KORE3 brackets and hoses with Blazer spindles on my 79 Cutlass. No problems with them in two years. Were your hoses too short?

I ran into this issue with my SS with C5 Z06 Brakes on the front, had to put a bolt in the LCA as a physical stop for the Spindle movement. Been working fine for years.

Nope, the hoses had plenty of length. I turned it lock to lock with the suspension drooped. You can see in the second picture where the hose attaches to the fitting its physically bent from the caliper hitting it.

I've mounted the hose bracket on top of the frame rail and used after market lines. I could not get the factory brake line mounting bracket to work.
