A friend is wanting to sell me his set of C5 wheels for my 81 Malibu coupe. They are 17” x 8.5 front and 18” x 9.5 rear.
Will these fit my 81 Malibu?

tire size selection will be very important. I have these sawblades and have been thinking of putting them on my wagon.

there is some doubt in it you may check by installing one tire into your vehicle, but one more suggestion is if you want long life tires so i have been using Continental tires for 3 years these tires are great and have great grip on the road i used these tires in my truck which i use for Lockout Service Queens NY, so my advice is to consider continental tires also,

I ran c5 wagon wheels for 2 years on my GP

You need 2" spacers

275/40/18 fits on rear
I wouldn't go anything larger than 245/45/17 up front as they rub the frame at full lock.

I ran them on my old cutlass with no problems

275 will fit in the front with the proper suspension. I'm running them with no rubbing.
