My job's been dickin me around with hours, and I straight up don't have the money to drive that far, and back. That's a 200 mile round trip, on a car that gets 150ish miles a tank. Over $100 in gas. If somehow I miraculously come up with like $200 I'd go.

Well just a reminder that the Cruise To The Woods is one week away! I guess there is not much interest in a gathering of us.

Here is what you Iowa woosies missed! I went on the Cruise To The Woods even though I knew it would rain all day. They had a pretty good turnout despite the weather. Somewhere around 100 of the expected 1400 showed up. Some highend built cars too.

This little Ford truck is my favorite. I talked to the owner for a while about it.

This a overview of the car show parts. Most people did the Cruise and then turned around and went home.

Here is what the Cruise looked like.

Nice pictures, I also like the Olds Vista Cruiser with the 442 option. Lots of nice G-Bodies and is that Vaga wider then stock? Maybe they mean the Tires.

The Vega is stock width. It is the later years, like 74. The tires are not as wide as normal prostreet tires. It is a smallblock car. I found it interesting because they keep the firewall foward original Vega like my Dad's car. It has factory interior too.

I like different things. I like seeing something different that the owner built him self. That is the stuff I take pictures of mostly. This car show has a diversity of cars. Something for every one I guess. I don't spend much time looking at professional built muscle cars, but they have a lot of 200000$ built cars too. Here in Iowa we have a lot of rich retired farmers. They buy a car and go to all the shows and win trophies. That's what they do. I have a one of one car that gets drove and will wip there factory correct Muscle Car's *ss, but will not win any trophies.
