I am rebuilding an olds 350 to put in my 85 cutty, what is a good size cam to put in it? This is an everyday driver so I am looking to get a something more like a mild cam. Also has anybody had any bad results with the edelbrock performer double roller timing chain set? Dont know much about the cam and timing chain so any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, Cloyes Street Roller. What heads and pistons? The generic 204/214 .448/.472, same as the Performer cam, is OK on a tight budget.

Thats about it its "OK" i have that cam in my 8.5-1 455 and its not bad but believe it or not you need gears and a looser converter.... When its up there in the RPMs its not bad at all runs like a raped date... Compared to the new grinds on the market your better off shelling out a couple extra bucks on a newer Comp Xtreme grind or a Voodoo

As far as the heads, as of right now they are #8's from the 73 block. I am looking for some 7a heads but no luck as of yet. As far as the pistons I havent purchased them yet. Going about this from the outside in so to speak. Do you have a part number on the Voodoo or the Comp xtreme? Thanks
