I know it's a long shot but, does anyone keep old cam cards or have a bunch laying around?
I'm looking for a cam card for the valve event timing and such for an old small block chevy Sealed Power cam CS112R. I can't seem to find much information about it other than it's a 300/300 adv. 224/224 @ .050 with a. 436/.436 with a 108 lobe separation. If it helps a Melling 22233 looks to be the same grind but I can't find any info on it either other than the aforementioned info of the Seald power cam. Thanks in advance for any help

Hate to say it, buy a degree wheel and find the intake center line (ICL).

Do you have the cam or are you looking to buy it?

The ICL is adjustable via advancing and retarding the cam, so you can adjust your valve events according. If it were on a 112 ICL, then that would be 4 degrees advanced which is an extremely common amount of advance for a cam to have ground into it. Also, that is a great hydro FT for reliability - the hydraulic intensity is fabulous for a street car. But if you're looking for bug amounts of power from a cam, then I'd look elsewhere to a more modern grind.

I know that this is not an answer to your question, but with the Kelly DCR calculator you can determine the valve events if you determine where you're going to install the cam in terms of ICL.

Just curiosity more than anything. My brother and I recently started working on our dads Chevelle and just wanted an idea of where it stood power wise based on the combination he had together. The engine blew about 25 years ago and we just yanked the short block out on Sunday. Always wondered what he had cam wise in it so we pulled it out and it was the seald power CS112R.
It was put together in the early 80's and as I recall it was no slouch. A 350 with the CS112R cam we think 186 heads, a torker ll intake, a 780 holley, headers with 2.5 in duals, an M21 muncie and 4.56 gears.

It’s a old PAW performance automotive warehouse or SSI grind pt# 10392
I looked in my sealed power federal Mogul and TRW performance catalogs and could not find it listed years Covered 1989 to 2003

Google is your friend.......posts #3 & 4

I've seen that one. That's how I identified the cam in the first place. Unfortunately that was the extent of the info I could really find on multiple sites of searching

Very frustrating. I found a Melling Cam chart and the valve open/close areas were blank??? Slow night at work, so I had time to look all over the net...nothing.

I found that out the hard way too. How could everything be blank on it. And even worse that's not the only cam like that on the melling chart. I did however find a few valve event calculators online and when I plugged in the info I do have it spit out results. And those numbers seemed to come out with the correct specifics when I started plugging numbers into the cam manager section of desktop dyno.
