Can anyone definitively say that the front lower control arms from an S10 will work on a 78-88 A/G body?;

I have been looking to replace my crusty front lower control arms and can't find any NOS or aftermarket new replacements for an A / G body. I see lots of after market lowers for 2 wheel drive S10s. it is my understanding that the difference between them was that the S10 used larger bolts to attach the arms to the frame. so to use them would be to either drill out the holes in the frame or swap the bushings to the A/G body style. Can anyone confirm?

The S10 A Arms are the same. Likely won't even have to enlarge the mounting holes due to use over the years.

Yes but you have to drill the bolt holes to half inch

I would rather buy my own ball joints so I can get the brand I want, not some cheap ones that are just to make people think they are getting a deal
