Found a guy selling the kit for $100 a side, but the EC has two body mounts on the rail and the MC has one. Are they identical otherwise? Can I just cut off the extra body mount if necessary and use the EC rail?

Below is a photo showing the difference in the rear rails between G Bodys.
Left is El Camino, Center is the 2 and 4 door, Right is the wagon. El Camino rear rails will not have access to the body mount behind the rear wheels on either side and will have no access for the last body mount on the passenger side. I would say no they could not be used without a lot of modification.

Damn, this forum is invaluable. Thanks man. If anyone needs the Elky rails for $100 plus shipping, shoot me a message and I’ll put you in touch with the guy.
