What is best way to connect the red choke lead wire? Where and how?

To do it correctly, you should have an oil pressure switch. This will cut voltage to the choke if there is no Oil Pressure. You can get by with using any 12V lead that is hot with ignition. Some have spliced off the hot lead for the distributor. Just be aware that if you use a straight connection, and you have the key on for any reason, your choke will be active and trying to open, which may cause starting problems.

Hey. I run my electric choke wire to the brown wire on the alternator connector.

I hooked mine up to the one of the 12v ignition sources on the fuse block. No need to splice.

When looking at your fuse box you'll see about three 12v ignition source on the left of the fuse box. They are for a single plug like you would use on the electric choke side of the carb.
