Starting to look into rebuilding the 4175 Holley (9895) I have had sat unused for about 6 years now. I wonder if I should use the Holley 37-1537 or the Quick Fuel 3-206. Both are Holley kits but about $95 vs. $40. Trying to figure if its worth extra/unneed parts with the Holley kit. For those don't recall, the carb is going onto a '70 L48 350.

I would probably go with the a QuickFuel or AED kit since many components are Holley anyways, just make sure any kit you buy has all of the components you want to replace and I would get a kit with the blue non stick gaskets for the metering blocks regardless of the brand you buy.

Quick Fuel is listed having non stick gaskets. For a "non stick" back up I have Chapstick, a old school hot rodder trick. Something about the chery flavored stuff seems to work the best. Didn't think about the AED kit.
