carb spitting

I have a holley 4150 double pumper that is spitting gas out the top when I give it gas trying to go over 2 grand it starts fine and idles great

Can you define - spitting out the top - where is it coming from, what kind of fuel pump are you running, is it regulated ??

It's spitting out of the middle of the carb like a big mist it's like it's back firing with out the flame and I'm running Aeromotive A2000 drag race fuel pump with Aeromotive regular

is it a bypass type regulator with a return?
