so ditched that q-jet and got a 750 holley with a trick kit, put it on with an adapter plate on stock '76 350 with 292 cam with 480 lift, edelbrock sure seat springs and stock exhaust manifolds into duals, it runs good but has a spot of hesistation and with backfire once in a while, is the power valve blown? and what vaccum powervalve should i put in? when i floor it it really gives that "holy crap" ride just want to stop the hesitation. oh and at 1000 rpm it has about 16 inches of vaccum
