Okay I’m thinking about changing my accelerator pump in my 4 barrel carb.
This will be my first time changing and I read that ethanol gas mess it up pretty quick which I didn’t know better. My car is constantly bogging still only at city speed. On the highway it runs smooth. Can someone show me the steps I need to take to change it . It’s a quadrajet auto line carb

Have you checked your vacuum advance unit on your distributor? A failed vacuum advance can cause sluggish low speed performance. Also, make sure the initial timing setting is correct and the mechanical advance is working too.

Use a putty knife to keep the TPS plunger depressed while putting the airhorn back on. Once the airhorn is back on, just slip the putty knife out.
