hope you arent gonna swap for a center console... I love the bench seat with floor shift look. So old school, nobody makes them anymore.

Here's an older picture of mine. The console is a modified unit from a '90's Pontiac Grand Am.

Ignore the fact that there is non lid on it

The fit wasn't too bad. The area in red is where I trimmed the console itself. The area in blue is where I made a notch in the dash that actually let the console sit into the dash.

I'm sure if someone was to take a little bit more time in doing this, the end result could look a LOT better.

I always thought that the F-body consoles looked good in our cars. A guy I knew that had a nice Malibu, had a Camaro console in his car and also installed the center mounted emergency brake handle. I thought that was pretty cool.
They kinda look similar to the GP console in a way.

a cool mod i though of just by looking at the pics was putting some lights inside the vents on eather side of the console. and wire it to the switches that turn the lights on when you open the doors. just a thought.
