I am wondering with this popular swap which obviously works well does anyone actually know the CFM rating for Intrepid dual fans?

Don't know, but cfm ratings of fans seems to be one of the most unreliable things I've dealt with. I think static pressure it's called is another way of rating fans that doesn't usually get used.
I think I've heard the Intrepid fans are pretty comparable to the camaro or vette LS1 factory fans like I have. Pretty fair flow for a factory fan & anything that includes good shrouding is far better than some aftermarket crap that doesn't.

Quick google search confirmed what I remembered & said there are 5 & 6 blade versions & supposed ratings varied from 2750 to 3200 average to as much as 3800. LS1 fans like mine supposedly 3200 to 4200. I remember from long time ago they were a popular swap with ls guys & on average rated just under the LS fan setups. Have a high amperage draw, which I consider somewhat of an accurate rating. No amp draw, no *ss.
Considering some for the Regal?

Actually I was thinking of transferring my Monte's Intrepid fans over to the Regal but only if the Monte can get an upgrade.
So I was looking at CFM to see if there was something that will be even better from the aftermarket for the Monte.

I'm sure there are. Amperage draw, shrouding , blade design, etc. If it don't cost a lot, probably not an upgrade.
Factory fan motors are bushings that go bad, good motors may be bearings. May also be brushless, which is supposedly more efficient. Not sure if our factory fan motors are brush or brushless.

I like that. Most of the time if it does cost a lot it still isn’t an upgrade. But we keep ‘upgrading’ anyway.

It does make me wonder why a gutless Dodge Stratus needed such an awe inspiring set of fans.

I agree and supposedly the 4cyl fans move more air. Mine are the 6 blade off a 2000 4 cyl Plymouth Breeze.

Same set of circumstances that make 403s need good cooling setups. Those engines produce heat! Also they are smashed into a puny engine bay with poor air circulation and they have to be compact while moving large volumes of air.

The engineering demanded a higher than average part to bring the rest of that garbage up to snuff. We reap the benefits.
