has any one ever yused this brand before?i saw it on ebay and they have a 4 row for 300 bucks, and they have a 3 row with dual fans forabout the same price.wich one should i get the 3 or 4 row? their all alluminum

The key to picking a radiator is NOT the number of rows, but the surface area of the tubes that are exposed to air.

In most cases especially with the 3 row aluminum radiators the tubes are 1/2" or under. You will get more cooling capability with a 2 row with 1” tubes (2” of surface area for a 2 row with 1” tubes vice 1 1/2” for a 3 row with ½” tubes or 2” of surface area with a 4 row with 1/2" tubes) .

I bought a 3 row Champion for my El Camino project (507 CI Cadillac) but after looking it over ordered a radiator with 2 1” tubes to use instead. The 3 row would/will be fine in another project without as much motor.

I have a 3 core for my cutlass. It is the champion unit without the electric fans though. It did TRY to cool my 350 olds but seeing as though i was driving it hard in 95+ degree summer heat with a 12.0 compression motor i could see how it would overheat. I also ran 2.56 highway gears and a 3000 stall converter so everything got hot. I am planning on buying a 4 core from them again just to see if it'll make any difference. BTW I think before i buy the 4 core, i'm going to measure the width of the three core just to see if they're gonna screw me over with another 3.

I think I got just the two core, but it really doesn't matter the number of cores, just how thick the cores are. I love the radiator, with a TH350, 3.23 gears and a bolt on 350 with my Mark VII fans, I drove about 30-45 minutes on the highway to a car show and it never got over 210°. When I turned the heat on it'd drop below 210°.

I'm fully confident it'll be more than enough with my LQ4/4L60E/3.73 swap with A/C.

I have been watching those exact same radiators on ebay, i have an 86 regal that i just put an olds 455 in and im needing a better radiator than the little stock on that came with the car to keep the engine cool.I was thinking about buyin the 4 row and hoping it will keep my engine cool. My car is running around 210 right now with its first trip down the blacktop. If you by one let us know how it works for you

I'm running the champion aluminum radiator and I have had zero heating issues ......I bought mine for just under $200.00. I think it's a great investment and it fit perfectly

The Champion 3 core cools my 403 fine, only towing my heavy boat in the heat caused higher temperatures. The 4 core would be a nice upgrade.
