Hi,

Is it possible to change the oil cooler lines of a THM350 leaving the transmission in place or does the trans have to be lowered slightly?

I've just taken a very quick look and there isn't a lot of room to work.

It can be done without dropping the transmission, a stubby wrench will help with clearance. You might want to raise the engine to get the lines in the spring clip on the engine.

If I remove the exhaust, I might just be able to get in there with a crowfoot flare nut wrench.

I would like to run flexi lines but I have to run my lines close to the exhaust so I think I'll have to stay with copper for the first couple of feet.

i've done that on some of my hotrods. bending that 5/16 line up there can be a pita to fit right.
