So I won a free rotation and balance on the radio and decided to take the elky on down. When they finally got'er in they start draining the oil so I remind the guy why I was there so he says don't worry you won't have to pay. They go to crank her up and look baffled. Told them they have to pump the gas first so they flood it and grind the starter so I end up going in to crank it. Two and a half hours later they go to let my car down off the jacks and pop a coil spring out of the driver rear and try telling me my shocks are the wrong ones because the spring popped out. After they hand me the keys the guy tells me I need to put a new oil filter on :wtf: I swear, the idiots these places hire makes me glad I drive something I can work on and not have to rely on a dealer technician to fix. End rant

I understand what you're saying. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, there has been a generation that has passed since new carbureted cars & trucks available for sale.

I don't trust any mechanic that isnt at least 20 years older than me, and I'm 30.
Thats sad when you can't trust a GM dealership to not f*ck that up.
