Hey, if anyone could help it would greatly be appreciated. My courtesy and lighter fuse blew, I replaced the fuse when I changed the lighter and socket. All courtesy lights work until I attempt to plug the wire into the back of new socket and it blows I tried tracing the wire but cant find anything. It only blows the fuse when I try to hook up the lighter. If there is a short I cant find it I spent 5 hours last night searching.
Thanks for any and all help !!!

Did it work before you changed the socket?

I've put 3 in already I'm sure all 3 cant be defective, I'm extremely lost with this .

if the fuse does not blow with the socket not plugged in and you have not reversed the wires for the socket then what else could it be. Perhaps the socket you are using is not the correct socket to use.
