Does anyone have the claret interior paint codes for 85-88? Looking to get mixed in cans. I remember a few years ago various codes and manufacturers were on gbodyolds and I was able to blue and gray mixed up locally.

85-88 Claret (aka Dk. Claret) is 79, Blue is 27, and Gray is 82. FYI

I'm looking for the company codes. I believe one was PPG another was Dinzer? The codes were longer than just a 2 digit number.

Who's mixing it? They should have the documentation to convert. GM code 79 is GM code 79. The place mixing it can take it from there. Why would you need specific codes? Ditzler was the one you were thinking of.

W5A4887 for flat
W12A4887 for semi-gloss

There is no gloss listed. If they can't mix it from that, find another vendor.

Thank you! A local company named Project Source. Some of the old codes work when mixing and some don't. I will give them a try. Thanks again

Anybody know the code for 1984 Dark Briar Brown interior. I'm in the same boat. I'd like to get a spray can mixed to repaint my glove box door.

For a future reference beside the GM two digit & "WA" codes used on our cars most major paint suppliers should be able cross each other formula codes. But the GM codes should be able to be mixed by anyone who does interior paint/dye/colorant.
