Nice car and I like the color, but since you are looking to sell I am curious are those the original doors since 86' would have those mirrors but they would be mounted near the front of the door.
Also IMO the main hoop of the cage looks too far forward have you tried installing a seat to see how far back you can go?
Another concern is the aluminum fuel cell appears to be mounted from underneath to angle iron but if the only thing holding it up is the locating tabs the weight of a full tank could stress crack those and rupture the tank.

Thank you. The drivers side had a new skin put on it , door frame is original . Yes the main hoop is too far forward , I agree. I put a poly race set in it to see, and it was a little tight with the original column . I’m 5’9” tall and I thought it was tight . As far as the tank goes , it looks like u may be right , I hadn’t really noticed it . The car was built 20 years ago .

Yeah, that's going to be a tough sell with that cage for many people since they will have to cut it out and start over, I do appreciate your honesty.
