Im rebuilding my 86 regal after years of not having time. Motor was replaced years ago from a 307 to olds 350 however i kind of miss original motor. What is the wiring that was cut off and can it be purchased?

I need to know where that bunch is running to.

What are you using for carb and ignition?

All them cut wires go to the Ecm behind the passenger kick panel if it's even still there.

They used to terminate in things like the tps, fuel mixture solenoid, o2 sensor, map/barometric pressure sensor, etc. If you don't have inspections rip it the rest of the way out. If you do a junkyard harness from a vehicle with the same drivetrain and year is the only option.

Also why would you miss 180hp at the absolute best? At its absolute worst the 350 was only 20hp behind. 350 is better than the 307 in every way.

Currently, there's a 4 barrel edelbrock carb on there. I'm still learning the ends and outs on this particular motor but i guess i just wanted the original motor. I also have to get it inspected.

Anyone know a good place i can purchased a half clth/vinyl top from. My regal gas a half top with coach lights.
