I've got a bucket seat interior in my ElCo and need a shifter that works well with the 700R installed in the car. I want to keep the center console assembly. Someone already cut up the factory 350 shifter, looks like no detents or push button, and the handle only moves through P-R-N-D then stops, no first etc.
Seen like some folks on here that modified later model floor shifters, perhaps from a Camaro, but I'd like a solution from top to bottom with starter safety switches, single gear selection and so on.
