Speaking of stupidly tight things. This is the "tool" I had to rig up to install the PS pipe plug on the Holley 302-3 pan:

The oil drain locations in this pan is engineering garbage!

With the wagon you were given the elephant-penis intake... now may I present to you the whale-penis flesh light!

Needed to make this so I can run the fresh air line to the PS valve cover and find a home for the IAT. There is enough room for a 9" long filter. I hope the layout of things is starting to unfold.

Cowl hood, I assume. I thought you were going for a under a flat? My bad.

Why not both?

The main reason I am moving the inlet/filter to the cowl is because the battery is currently where I wanted the filter. But, if I want to get this on the road summer some concessions are happening.

But, yes the cowl hood is going back on for now.

That moment when you realize the part for your Chevy was designed to fit a Ford: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversi...w-holley-302-3-ls-oil-pan-preview-thread.html

The need for this pan was discovered during the development of the coming Hooker Fox Body Mustang LS swap system for users that will be wanting to use the stock Fox body K-member and power steering rack.

he installed photos depict the pan on a stock Fox Body Mustang K-member and give a good idea as to how the geometry of the Fox body K-member and steering rack dictated the design geometry of the oil pan.

And that is why the drains suck.

So in the interest of actually driving this thing I figure it would be beneficial to have something that connects the throttle to the throttle body. So I threw some random words into Amazon and came up with these:

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B002ZMHFV8/?tag=rippca-20

It was just $26 this earlier this afternoon. Nope, no collusion here.

Teamed with this it should work out just fine:

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B000COCPZM/?tag=rippca-20

36" is a touch long for a sensible routing - but it is better than the 40 inches of the 4th Gen F-body and 24" is too short.

Looks nice, and cheaper than the Lokar cable I've got saved. Let us know how it does.

Parts showed up.

This stuff is gonna work sweet, the cable is designed to be shortened to suit and the cable stops come with two 1/4 inch pieces that fit the WARR throttle body perfectly.
