This one doesn't. Note the aftermarket Imperial oil pressure and temperature gauges. ;)

More spaghetti management. Ran the fan relay and tested it. Pretty much at the stage where I can start connecting the engine harness to the fuse block, and then loom the crap out of it.

Decided to take a break from underhood wiring and work on other wiring. Namely the boost controller/wideband. Having done this a few times I have learned that the main harness needs a disconnect so that the install and service are more liveable. So I built one... and I chose to cut a new blank for it too. I love the factory(?) duct tape.

Doing my best impression of an elec-chicken. Originally I was going to put all of this in or on the glove box - but since I am not putting a radio in this thing I had a little real estate to leverage. I need a relay for the boost controller/wideband and having room for a bunch of spare circuits will be handy. Because race car. The blank spot to the left is reserved for a cellphone mount... or maybe some switches.

After cleaning up my disaster of a garage I made the IAC break out harness and the MAF adapter harness. Ho hum.

More magic pixie labour. First order of business was finishing up the modifications to the main harness by building in the MAP adapter - this allows me to switch between an old school MAP or a new LS-style MAP (because supertuna reasons). After that I hogged the "accessory port" hole out about a 1/4" in diameter and stuffed the USB/voltmeter port in. Then it was a matter of running wires - which when done reasonably well - takes FOREVER. A quick bench test proves that it should work just fine... gauge shows voltage, and the LED indicates a broken circuit (I just pulled the fuse). For those wondering the little relay board (from Leash) has two 40A relays on it, and I will be running these to trigger things like the boost/wideband gauge, the USB port, and ummmm... other things I forget that I wanted to do. Let's just call it expansion. Actually I am relocating the accessory port to use with my power inverter for charging my laptop while tuning/logging.
