i purchased a readyrad radiator a while back before I put and aluminum one in and it was pretty nice radiator. pretty sure this one summit sells is it

If you cant find the rubber saddles use a tire tube. Just cut out the size piece you need and sit the radiator in.

The rubber does not dry out, salt doesn't effect it and is chemical resistant.

We use to make rubber bands out of the tubes to secure our gear.

Steve, if you want a brass/copper radiator this is the one I bought for my car. I bought a 4 row. They have other options. They also make a quality product. The Modine ship has sailed.
This is a bolt in application. No muss, no fuss. No modification at all.

I have a spare for now, it just needs a repair to the tank and cleaning / new paint. Thanks!

HEADS UP Folks: Tell you what I have a spare ALL Copper/Brass Radiator for a GBODY. This was in my 84 Buick Regal V6. It is # 569. It has a leak in the right tank. I tried some JB WELD but it did not last more than 6 months. This radiator can be fixed to be made like new at any radiator shop. I will sell it for $50 plus $shipping. I need to make up for the rear defrost switch I wasted my money on. Let me know. I am in NY.

I've been running aluminum/plastic tank radiators in my Monte's since 03' in the LS and 04' in the SS, never an issue and they cool great. If I had an original or numbers matching car I'd keep the original style, but no reason to not trust the other kinds, IMO.

My 84 Regal is to my knowledge all matching. I even have the original radio and speakers. I never change anything in my cars.

Actually since purchase with 70,000 miles in December of 1997 I change the oil 4 to 6 times a year. I only put 4,500 or so miles per year on it. Now it has 158,000 miles on original 231 V6 3.8L

Durability and performance are best reviewed after true real-world testing.

Out of many alum./plastic units I have used, one I owned from start to finish was a stock replacement AC Delco third gen Camaro replacement. After 15 years, about 100,000 miles, less frequent coolant changes than recommended, freezing it solid in the Midwest one winter, and countless hours spent in 120 degree weather, I can tell you the aluminum/plastic units are better performing, lighter, and as durable as they need to be. Even if one fails, and mine did along the middle top of the core ,you can get another in short notice all over upper North America.
