Cowl hood with 14" air cleaner question

Bolted on a 2" steel cowl hood on my ElCamino today. It has an open area for like a 14" air cleaner to go inside. What are you guys using to block off engine and cooling fan heat from hitting the air filter? Pics would be cool too

I used an 18" aluminum cake pan. Cut the center out, riveted my air cleaner base into it and then used the Moroso flame resistant foam for the seal. To gauge the correct height I put a few pieces of masking tape on top of the foam and put small dabs of wheel bearing grease on each piece of tape. Then closed the hood to check the "contact pattern". Some might say it's hokie but it works and looks good IMO. This is the only pic I have atm.
