I seen that! Pretty good deal. I just might be getting my third set come tax time.

Great deal. I heard good things about Coys, especially ever since they relocated the air valve to the appropriate spot. Only thing I wonder is if an 8 inch wheel with a 4.5 inch backspace is problematic for the fronts on a gbody.

Would the tire or the rim rub on the upper control arm on turns? On my 79 GP, the front edge of the upper control arm only clears the lip on my stock 14 inch rim by about an 1/8th of an inch. A 17x8 or 18x8 inch wheel with 4.5 BS will be large enough to clear any control arm or tie rods, but Im not sure how much rubbing would occur at full lock. I'm picturing in my mind the upper control arm would hit the inside of the rim on turns.

I really like the US Indy Mag Bandit wheel, but they only come in 8 inch widths with the standard 4.5 bs, I would seriously consider them but worry that a 17x8 wheel with 4.5bs will rub on full lock. Here is the bandit wheel:

What year is the el camino? Does that have the same front end as my 79 GP? I"ll have to put those wheels back on my radar, if that BS works for our cars. Also what tires are you running on the front?
