so here's my project-car, my 1979 Monte Carlo 305.

I bought it december 2002 and I'm still on it... It's my hobby and I work on it every time when I have lil time and money or so ;) LOL

current projects, rework the whole car, rebuild frame/suspension. Body will be painted something like gunmetal (dark grey)

I cleaned a lil bit the engine and added some chrome parts..

As I said before, want to rebuild everything. Want a clean & smooth car - good suspension, good brakes and nice looking 8)

Feel free and post your thoughts and suggestions!

I got a question: What's the little white car next to it in the garage in the second pic down, the one with the Seat ( I think-looks like a Seat Leon Cupra to me) next to the Monte?

no that was just a "Seat Arosa" - not a Cupra. My buddy owns a Seat Carshop, thats why ;) ...but I saw some Cupras over there too 8) ..but these cars are not my thing, I just love them older cars 8)
...few years ago my buddy build this for his showroom:

I like the European tail lights with the amber lenses. They're obviously different than the domestic ones. I'm assuming the 81-88 Cutlass has something with an amber lens too? Looks like you're making progress! 8)

Thanks man! But I'll change them out - I'll convert it to 78 taillights ;)

..my DD is a 1998 Mustang V6 with 19x8.5 + 19x10 MSR 088 (american racing) wheels on it. Also 114.3x5.

Bought them here:

Do you guys know if these also would fit on my Monte Carlo?

yeah okay I just forgot chevy had a different pattern ;)

...at the moment I'm thinking about a 350 engine - but you know I'm german and don't know much or let's say nothing about swapping from 305 to 350.. also thought about a manual/stick transmission.. what options I got?
