Custom air box

I took the stock air box w/AC out of my 1985 GP and started to cut the crap out of it.

then I put 2 layers of fiber glass

Then came the BONDO and more BONDO and hours of sanding

Then it was time for paint.

It looks alot better than stock and it was well worth the time I put into it. All in all I spent about 12 hours in it and about 25 bucks and it looks awsome. Hopefully I will get to put it back into the car this week, Cuz i pickup my block from the machine shop the weakend. I will get more pics once it is in the car.
 
I have all the pics in my gallery. Yes it still will function heat only no AC. I started putting it back into the car today I will try and get some pics tomorrow.
 
Very cool. I'd be intrested in seeing some more on how you did that. I've been looking into doing something similar. Cool idea! 😀
 
that looks nice i did mine in the car it looks slopy but it works .
