So I finally got my shifter installed. Decided to try and build a center console. Wanted it to look stock I was able to integrate the console shifter cover I got with the b&m so it fits flush with my console. I used 1/4inch plywood for the sides I used 1/2 stripping for support then covered it in vinyl. I also used some faux carbon fiber on top.

Nice effort. You matched the vinyl shade to your interior colors really well. I didn't know that GM made the 'pillow top' seats in bucket configuration.

Console looks good, sure if was cheaper than factory buckets and console...now at least you have something you like until the right deal comes along for a factory set up.

Nicely done. Interior is really clean. I always liked that darker blue.

They didn't you have to cut down the passenger side bottom seat for this mod. I've done it a few times.

So this is a more notable effort than Luisram mentioned...

Would like to do this to my kids Cutlass but it has vinyl on the sides of the seat...probably more involved than cloth sides.
Cloth seats are easier but it still has to be a style that has the piping running down the edge where the seat would theorectically end otherwise it doesn't look right.

How could I install a center console without cutting the passenger seat? there would be no space in the middle.the whole setup cost me the price of the shifter plus the material for the console which was about $30 a couple of days of my time

Nice job, Luis.
It looks stock....except for the shifter, of course. I also like the way you split the seat.
