so cal
my 86 307 had em stock but they didnt work the needles just moved around but the readings were crap even the tach its 4000rpm when it was just at 2000 ,

the fuel one didnt move at all and the mph didnt even move when i was driving and i kno its mechanical so it should work .

so went to the junk yard and got the regular ones the ones that just have the gas and mph on it and the gas and odometer still dont work ... u guys got any ideas on what can be wrong cuz the fuel needle didnt even move at all when i hooked it up like it stays at 1/4 and my fuel tank is empty ..lol i know that can be my sender unit but the odometer dont even move either when am driving ...fudge

Just build youself a custom dash with Autometer stuff. They will always be accurate.

none of my gauges worked but my tach and my spedo, i found what wires were what taht came to the cluster, spliced in and hard wired all my gauges, jumped grounds accross all of them, power threw all of them and then a third wire was the sensors themselfs too it, they all work now and are correct all but my tach is off a few hundred rpms, it took me hours to do and to figure out what was what on the gauges and were to put the wires, its all on a fuse so i wont burn up and die, i reccomend what STL84Calais said, unless you got a lot of time on ur hands and spare gauges from other ralley packs because more than likely a few of the gauges them selfs are bad.

ok so like build my own from like those seperate gauges u can buy like at autozone ..wat about the fuel gauge will any fuel gauge work??

Yeah Ive put in 2 ralley guage packs and on both the tach stops at higher RPM's. On the other one I would get to 2500 and the tach wouldnt keep going, and my new one goes to 3250 or so and stops. Is this how they all are or something?

alright thanks guys does anyone know were i can buy the transmission cable the one that goes to the odometer that tell u how fast ur going i think mine went bad

Summit Racing will have it, Lokar is a good brand, you will need one 84" long.

As for your fuel gauge, you'll need one that states its 0 Ohms empty 90 Ohms full. for GM vehicles 1965-1997.
