Cutlass Supreme temp gauge erratic

'83 307 y code with factory gauge pack. Temp gauge flutters wildly. I have bled the system, installed new sender, thermostat, rad cap and had the gauge out and cleaned connections. Running temp at thermostat housing is 195-200 checked with ir gun. Gauge will read 230- 280 fluttering.
Any ideas??? Thanks!

Still seems like a connection or the sender itself has become intermittent. Show me a pic of the sender, I have a pile of senders...
