WANTED Cutlass T56 trans cross member

Looking for a modified stock or anything that will fit my T56 conversion. Yes I know they sell them new but trying to cut a little cost.

I have some frame rail pads I had made to extend the trans mounting point. Weld-in.

Do you have an existing 2004r xmember?

If you have a grinder, a welder, and some 3/16 plate hanging around you can cut the existing trans mount pad off & make a new one. The T56 is a lot taller in the shifter area than an auto so the trans has to lower some in order to clear the floor pans. I dropped mine about 1.5" and moved it forward

I ended up just ordering a Evolution Racecraft crossmember, I don’t have the welding skills

Apologies that it took me a week to dig these out. Heavy 11-gage steel, matches the contour of the stamped GM frame extension. Cut, weld and drill to your custom application. Stiffer than bolting a piece of square tube and cantilevering the trans mount.

Well the one I ordered and waited 6 weeks for didn’t fit!!! Guess I will need to try to do this
