Okay so the rear hinges on the old dirt track car that i bought and am turning into a cheap, fun, street legal (ish) car has of course had the rear trunk hinges cut. Does anyone know if that assembly actually comes out of the car? From what i have been able to see it looks like its built into the rear package tray. Id rather not lift the trunk lid off everytime i need in there. IF they cannot be replaced does anyone know a good solution to have a trunk that opens?

Yeah i was thinking i might be able to do that, if its not too tied into the rear of the car that it just wouldnt be worth it. Hoping maybe someone on here has a set or an old parts car that has some

I have a few options for you. I believe I have 2 sets still installed on rear package trays from Monte carlos I've parted out in the past. I can get better pics for you in the daylight.

It would help if you could snap a few pics for me to see what you are currently working with, this way I know what pieces you need.

I also have a pair of the cylindrical spring hinges that came on early gbody montes. GM part #: 20477735. These are missing a set of brackets though.

Okay so I took a better look and more is gone than I thought. Pretty much a bare package tray bottom. I know when I sold it that it still had the boxes that held the arms so the other guy must have torched them out
