This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know of an aftermarket source for wiper motors? I had the one in my '85 stop working at the end of last year and I cannot find a replacement from anywhere. I swapped one in from my '84, but I need another one. I checked Advance, AutoZone, Napa, Summit, Jegs, EVERYWHERE!! I even had one of the parts guys at work search for any original unsold ones collecting dust in a dealership somewhere, but the closest one was in Missouri or somewhere far away. The auto parts stores "listed" one, but you had to send yours in to get reman'd and it takes a few months. I'm currently not aware of any G-bodies at junkyards around here (Pittsburgh PA), but i may be wrong. Any ideas?

Have you checked rockauto.com? It says there are 2 available, a "gm genuine" and a "Cardone"

If you are willing for a trip past the Clearview Mall in Butler there's Renicks up on 308. Don't for get to check the '84 up FWD A-bodies, F-bodies, Vettes.

When you say "motor", do you actually mean "motor"? Or do you mean the entire assembly? Do you have delay wipers? Or simple 2-speed?

Latest GM part number for the motor (part #7) is 19179659. Amazon has them under Cardone # 40-175.

If you have delay (CD4) wipers and need the circuit board/cover, GM p/n 22039684, good luck with that. It's a very hard to find part new, even a used one.
