I have a 350 sbc of unknown construction. No idea of parts used inside it. I dated the block to 1980-85 casting 14010207. The heads are 993's. Other than that I have no info on this thing. I am sure a rebuild is in it's future. For now however I want to check the cylinder pressure. Was wondering what a good/bad pressure rating would be as far as psi?

Anything over 120 and as long as they are consistent. Otherwise without knowing the engine they can be 110-220 cranking pressure. A leak down test is a good check too
