Hello, I have a ‘79 Malibu Wagon and I took the gauge cluster housing out to swap out the bad clock. All the gauges and dash lights worked at the time.
I bought a replacement plastic housing out of a Monte Carlo because my original has alot of broken or cracked screw housings.
When I re-installed it, none of the gauges work nor lights. I checked fuses and connection wire in the back.
Is it possible the circuit boards on the back of the gauge housings are different? I attached a photo of what I mean by circuit board.
If this is a possible issue, how do you get those off? They are held in by the metal connectors for the gas, water, oil and volt gauge.
