Dam I just realized my shadow boxes are different. The one thats bright white is my 79. Not sure what year the other one is. Must be for a sweep style. Has only 3 holes for the electric connections compared to the 11 for mine. Looks like the epoxy putty is next.

1-does it have the clock in it? It’s difficult to buy a new gauge panel lens without a hole for the clock stem. 2- I’ve been looking for one but apparently different part numbers for different years. I’ve seen where later years have they’re own white plastic mounting bracket. My 79 mounted directly to the inner structure. The new dash that I’m putting in requires the additional bracket. If you know it will work for mine PM me and we’ll discuss it further.

Doug, The tach does not have the clock. I have some used gauge pieces and some NOS pieces, mostly Malibu 1979 to 1981. I"m about sixty miles from you,Feel free to come down anytime. Bill Fairmont WV

Got the mounting tabs fixed with 2 part epoxy. Now I’m TRYING to find a new windshield wiper/washer switch. Used to see them listed all the time.

Found one NOS...OUCH. Dig deep. You have the delay style. 78-79 with 16" leads. Original part number is 467318, first design 78, with 12" leads. Superseded to 2nd design 14004945.

I ordered a new tach, it doesn’t have the clock. No big deal though. I ordered a new gauge lens with no holes. The one part ( so far ) I could use is the windshield wiper/washer switch. It’s got three wires attached on the right rear side along with the plug connections. To refresh it’s 79 Elco. The switch is the only thing I can figure why my washer fluid pump doesn’t work. I had my wiper/washer motor and pump rebuilt by one of the companies that sells them because mines different than anything I found.
