Deck lid lock replacement (rivets?)

Trying to rekey my car.
Do you have to drill these rivets out in order to remove the deck lid bezel?
How do you reattach bezel?

Yep , just drill the head off and punch them through. I used screws to put mine back on my Bonneville.

Does the GP not use the same type slide retainer as pretty much every other GM car?

I thought that was just an ornament, didn't actually hold cylinder in.

No the slider pin is in the bottom.
I'm assuming the bezel has to come off lid to remove cylinder, no?

Not sure, would be ridiculous, but then GM wasn't always thinking about stuff like that
