Defog switch issue

Funny you mention that, I hosed mine down with electrical cleaner spray, blew it out with air hose and applied little but of Dielectric grease to the prongs on back. Works great now.

I did this to headlight switch and cluster connection, now headlight switch works again and all lights are bright and gauges work without bouncing as well.

Great news! Then it was contacts and not the solid state timer. If that goes, you're screwed. You could bathe it in cleaner and it wouldn't matter.
