Hello all
I am new to the forum. I have acquired a 3.8 turbo carbureted from a 1980 Monte Carlo. It is a bit of a basket case. I have gone through the engine and everything is fine there. The intake and carb were off the engine when I got it but I have gone through them and everything there is ok. I am looking for pictures in detail of the vacuum hose routing. I have the fan shroud but part of the vacuum diagram is missing. I have a diagram from the manual but there is nothing better than actually seeing it in pictures.
Any help will be very much appreciated. It is going to be replacing my naturally aspirated 3.8 litre in my 1986 Monte Carlo. If the weather here in eastern Canada ever warms up enough to get it out of storage.

Welcome to a great site,

What part of this great big country are you in ?

And yes there was snow falling yesterday in Southern Ontario , not sticking to anything . But a mental kick in the teeth at this time of year.

I am on little old PEI. I actually found this engine and transmission in Belleville. Likely not too far away from you.
The snow has just left here but there are flurries in the forecast for a while yet here.

Yeah. These are strange times for sure. It has been very quiet on the island. Not sure when it all ends but I hope it’s soon.
Cheers.
