There is a seller who is claiming tubular manifolds stock, I think he is confused. The car is 4 hours away.

i believe they are a log style cast manifolds. not an equal length manifold, or header style manifold.

87 had welded tubes but not like a header my 87 Cutlass with 7a heads had them I think all the 7a heads did I'm not sure I've definitely seen a lot of them on 442s

The Buick parts book shows '86-87 307 Manifolds as SST (stainless steel) and not CI (Cast Iron)

22530286 Right

Few would mistake this for a header:

All VIN 9 442/Hurst engines 83-87 came with cast iron manifolds that were standard on all 64-80 SBO engines.
Only 85-90 VIN Y's came with stainless log manifolds, not sure about the 81-84 VIN Y's

All the 81 to 84 Vin Y motors I have seen up here had the #17 cast iron intake and the cast iron log exhaust manifold's, except the Hurst/Olds, A4 and cast iron exhaust manifolds. I got him to take a pic and of course not a side ways pic, so I couldn't see it. Either way the dual snorkel is there and it has the air injection tubes still in place. He said one needed replaced, it was I will wait till I actually look at it.

Hope that 442 works out for you Christian! I thought about that one real hard the first time it was listed....and like you say at the lower price too.
