Its texas. As long as you get to it before the hurricane does, it'll be fine.

I'd say just the mostly (if not all, it is Texas after all) rust free body and block are worth the 1200 bucks. The block can be made into a 434+ cubic inch stroker with an olds 425 crank and BBC rods. I'd read that 440 is possible, but I've never seen it done.

I'd like to own that car. Being from El Paso, it is likely a very clean rust free body.

I don't need another project and don't have anywhere to put one.

If I did buy the car there is no way I would put a diesel engine or Oldsmobile engine of any kind in it.

Why not? Olds engines (aside from the diesels) are pretty damn good all things considered. Plus the olds 350 is a direct swap.
