Dimmer switch help

Need some help guys. My headlights quit working on me and from what I have read it’s normally a switch. I replaced the headlight switch and still didn’t get anything. I pulled my dimmer switch and I can’t find one that matches online. I have a 1987 cutlass supreme brougham. I attached a picture of the dimmer switch I pulled and the other picture is the only other dimmer switch I can find. Any help will be awesome

That one in the pic should work. The extra metal is an alignment pin type arrangement that is removed once everything is tightened up.
