Hello,

Happy new year everyone!
I have an 81 with about 80k on it.

i’m the 2nd owner and learning to do basic maintenance. Does the distributor require maintenance ? cap/rotor? ignition coil?

currently not having any issues, it does look like it’s the original one.

thanks

All good items to swap along with plugs and wires. If you're not experiencing issues presently, then hold onto the cap and rotor as spares.

Caps and rotors come in various levels of quality. Better caps have brass contacts that are molded into it.
