I used a 1993 astro 4.3 sender. I got this one on closeout for $25 from rock auto.

Yeah the AN tube adapters are in the mail, i will put it on today when it shows up from summit.

Only note is that in order for the sender to fit I had to bend the sock over and basically pop the level sender float half way off to get it through the hole. Once the pump was in I could pull the hanger up more and clip the hanger back into the plastic tabs and then it went in.

I also decided the big 3/4" vent is going to get plugged and the 1/4" tube will get a vacuum line to near the filler neck. It looks like there was some type of check valve or mini charcoal canister there so I can use that to relieve some of the pressure in the tank.

There's a local guy back home parting out a 78 sport coupe with a Buick 350. I bought the console and ran out of room in my Rainier but bought the hood and turbo gague cluster my dad is going to pick up. If anyone sees anything else let me know and I'll see on prices. Seats are still available and he has all 4 turbo regal wheels

Gaaaaahhh! What's that white stuff in the background?!?!

Over a foot of water in crystalized form falling from the sky when the temperature is below 32F.

Had about 2" in spots and got whacked with 13" on the 26-27th

Oh no it's wiring time!!

Tried to find the output wire from the harness for the fuel pump feed wire. Decided I'm just going to skip the crusty looking factory stuff and do the hotwire setup and pull voltage right off the alternator.

Also final prepped my fuel tank. Plugged the big evap line, put the an adapter, a pig tail and filter in. Put a vent line on and the return line hose got replaced. Redid part of the harness so the tank ground and level sender wiring stays back at the tank and hot wire going in runs in from the front with weather pack plugs on both.

Also ran the braided stainless -6 hose through the frame rail and put the trans mount in.

I sold the 3.8 I took out for $100 but can't get it out since the car is on Jack stands and I don't want to lower it, move the engine out and then move it back over and put it back on the stands.

Still have to run 12v back to the tank, ziptie the hoses in place, put the tank back in and change the trans filter, hook up the shifter, driveshaft, holy crap theres a lot to do.
